Summary

Oval George II cake basket, the sides pierced in quatrefoil patterns, the pierced borders cast with masks among fruiting vine, the centre chased with floral scrolls. With swing handle of mask and vine pattern, the centre with applied shield engraved with later coat of arms and the centre of the swing handle replaced. On four scroll and shell feet headed by chinoiserie masks with scroll supports.
