Summary
Oil painting on canvas (ceiling - west panel), A Cupid carrying a Garland (Laurel Wreath), Venetian School, c.1600. Flying winged putto, looking downwards, left foot bent at the knee, both hands holding a laurel wreath, some loose drapery flying about the figure.

Acquired by William John Bankes in Venice in around.1849/55; bequeathed by (Henry John) Ralph Bankes (1902 – 1981) together with the estates of Corfe Castle and Kingston Lacy and its entire contents
