Summary
Oil painting on canvas (ceiling painting -south panel), Cupid carrying a Spur and a Clock, studio of Paolo Veronese (Verona 1528 -Venice 1588). Flying winged putto, horizontal figure, looking over his right shoulder, left leg extended, right leg bent at the knee, holding a spur in his right hand and a clock in his left, loose drapery flying about the figure.

Acquired by William John Bankes in Venice, in around 1849-55; bequeathed by (Henry John) Ralph Bankes (1902 – 1981) together with the estates of Corfe Castle and Kingston Lacy and its entire contents
