Summary
A mahogany and tulip wood cross banded cylinder bureau, English, circa 1795. The fall enclosing a fitted interior of drawers and pigeon holes with an adjustable writing slide and three drawers below, later turned feet and handles.
Provenance
Bequest of the estates of Corfe Castle and Kingston Lacy made to the National Trust by Henry John Ralph Bankes (1902-1981). NT ownership commenced from 19th August 1982.
