One from a set of four mahogany serpentine chests of drawers, London, circa 1770, possibly supplied by John Mayhew and William Ince (fl.1758-1804) Each with four long drawers, the top one fitted with a slide and raised on bracket feet.
Provenance
Bequest of the estates of Corfe Castle and Kingston Lacy made to the National Trust by Henry John Ralph Bankes (1902-1981). NT ownership commenced from 19th August 1982.
