Summary
A soap dish drainer, or liner, white-glazed ceramic, made by Minton and retailed by T. Goode and Co. of 19 South Audley Street, London. The soap dish (NT 1250687.7.1) and cover (NT 1250687.7.3). One piece of one of many sets (and part-sets) of this type of bedroom or toilet service at Kingston Lacy. See also NT 1250698, 1250828, 1251006 and 1251007. Perforated for draining and with a pair of low concentric ridges.
Provenance
Bequest of the estates of Corfe Castle and Kingston Lacy made to the National Trust by Henry John Ralph Bankes (1902-1981). National Trust ownership commenced on 19 August 1982.
