Full description

Sir George is looking to the left. He is wearing a tweed jacket, with a white handkerchief in his breast pocket, waistcoat, white shirt and paisley bow-tie. Sir George was an English stage actor, theatre producer and manager. The photograph is inscribed and dated at the top. "Every good wish for Xmas 1897. George Alexander 1897." At the bottom. Mrs McEwan. This photograph is dedicated to Mrs William McEwan, née Helen Anderson. She was Margaret Greville's mother.
