Summary
A chair, one of a set of five oak chairs, English, circa 1770. Each with a serpentine toprail and a pierced vase-shaped splat, and a drop-in seat pad later upholstered in either black or brown leatherette. The legs square-section with a corner moulding and internal chamfer, and joined by an 'H'-shaped and a rear stretcher.
