Summary
A mahogany pedestal table, English, circa 1770. The one-piece mahogany top with 'pie-crust' or scalloped edge, and on a vase- and ring-turned column on three cabriole legs carved with flowers and terminating in scroll feet.

Date of acquisition not recorded; bequeathed by Margaret McEwan, The Hon. Mrs Ronald Greville (1863-1942) with Polesden Lacey, to the National Trust, in memory of her father, William McEwan (1827-1913) in 1942.
