Summary
Louis XV ormolu mounted red tortoiseshell boulle and ebonised bonheur du jour with scroll fitted drawer in the frieze, on scroll legs with ormolu caryatid ornamentation, the upper portion with two drawers with cupboard over enclosed by two panel doors, surmounted by ormolu urns.
Provenance
Armstrong collection. Transferred by the Treasury to The National Trust in 1977 via the National Land Fund, aided by 3rd Baron Armstrong of Bamburgh and Cragside (1919 - 1987).
