Summary
Institute of Archaeology 2008: Wooden box containing seal impressions made of plasticine with letter to Max Mallowan. Stuart Blaylock 2008: A wooden box with two stamp seal impressions in plasticine (neither looks Near Eastern; could they be Minoan? Or similar?); plus related letter dated 5.v.1972 from Norman --------- [this would appear to be Captain Norman Colville (1893–1974), of Penheale Manor, Launceston, re. donation of the finds to MELM (rather than, as I first wondered Norman Corkhill, who [inter alia] gave the University of Exeter’s set of Iraq, which contains his bookplate?).
