Full description
Well-head, carved in low relief in continuous band depicting four scenes, (1) showing two women and a man at a counter with scales, (2) a devil and kneeling man wrestling with a circle over an altar (?), (3) two men on mythical beasts and (4) a scene of lamentation. Top of well-head has various cutouts, a groove, a hollow and three lead filled holes, probably fixings for previous lid or well mechanism.
