Oil painting on board, Lady Mairi Elizabeth Vane-Tempest-Stewart, later Viscountess Bury (1921-2009) as a Child aged 2 by Philip Alexius de László de Lombos (Budapest 1869 – London 1937), 1923. A half-length portrait study of Lady Mairi as a child of two years, turned to the left and holding a cup and saucer in both hands. Exhibited in June 1931 at Hôtel Charpentier, Paris, Exposition P.A. László. no. 78

Presumably commissioned by the sitter's parents, the 7th Marquess and Marchioness of Londonderry; thence by descent to the sitter; given to the National Trust by Lady Mairi Bury (1921-2009) in 1976
