Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Lady Elizabeth Frances Charlotte Jocelyn, Lady Castlereagh, later Marchioness of Londonderry (1813-1884), school of Franz Xaver Winterhalter (Menzenschwand 1805 - Frankfurt am Main 1875), 1847. A three-quarter-length portrait of Elizabeth, Viscountess Powerscourt, wife of Viscount Castlereagh, later 4th Marquess of Londonderry, turned to the right and dressed in black. She wears a pink flower in her hair, a blue brooch, and holds a fan in her right hand, crossed over her left. A red drape is pulled back to the right behind her.
