Portrait miniature, watercolour painting on ivory, George Spencer-Churchill, Marquess of Blandford later 5th Duke of Marlborough (1766-1840) by William Grimaldi (Shoreditch 1751 – London 1830). 1791. Oval. Head and shoulders portrait of a young man, turned to the left, gazing to the left, seated in a red chair, wearing a blue coat with large brass buttons, yellow waistcoat, white neck-linen. Brown eyes, powdered hair, healthy complexion, aged 31. Plain grey background.
