Summary
A mahogany occasional table, British, 18th century table top with associated base, the circular table top with moulded and raised rim (damaged), the associated base with plain frieze and on four rounded and tapering legs terminating in pad feet. Repairs. The underside of the table top applied with a small white round label with handwriting reading '182' and a stapled brown tag label with handwriting reading 'Lady Londonderry tray?'. The underside of the table also marked with a round stamp containing the Londonderry cypher below a coronet and centred with an E. This is thought to be the stamp of Edith, Lady Londonderry and can be found on several pieces of furniture at Mount Stewart.

Underside of table top: The underside of the table top applied with a small white round label with handwriting reading '182' and a stapled brown tag label with handwriting reading 'Lady Londonderry tray?'. The underside of the table also marked with a round stamp containing the Londonderry cypher below a coronet and centred with an E. This is thought to be the stamp of Edith, Lady Londonderry and can be found on several pieces of furniture at Mount Stewart.
