Summary
A walnut chest-on-stand, British, early 18th century, the rectangular top quarter-veneeredthe moulded cornice above two short and two long drawers, the drawer fronts with herringbone stringing and crossbanding and fixed with brass bail handles and pierced and shaped handles, with moulded base, the stand with moulded rim above a single frieze drawer en suite to the those above, on five turned legs terminating in ball feet, the legs joined by bowed stretchers on all sides.
