Summary
A padouk and oak Pembroke table, Irish, late 18th century, the oval padouk table top formed of a central section flanked on each side by a drop leaf, the table top with moulded rim, the oak frame fitted with a frieze drawer to either end, each drawer front with line-incising and a brass knob handle, on four square-section legs, each drop-leaf supported on an additional swing-action square-section leg. The underside of the table top stamped with a 'T'' and applied with a white round label with handwriting reading '163'.
