Summary
A mahogany fold-over card table, Irish, mid-18th century, the rectangular table top with moulded rim and shaped corners, the frieze with shaped lower edge and centred to the front by an applied carved shell, on four cabriole tapering legs, the knees with carved shells and leaf motifs, several legs missing their carved corner brackets, the legs terminating in double-knuckle paw feet, the fold-over table top lined with green baize to the interior, the fold-over section supported by the rear left swing-action leg.The underside of the table applied with a small white round label with handwriting reading '85'.
