Summary
A provincial walnut corner cabinet, French, mid-18th century, the pierced asymmetrical rococo-carved crest incorporating scrolls, rocaille, and acanthus leaves, the serpentine-shaped front with a single cupboard door with applied moulding forming two paneled sections with shaped frame including scroll-forms, with shelves to the interior, on a plain plinth base. With extensive old worm damage and previous wax repairs.
