Summary
One of a pair of Chinese export porcelain globe shaped bottles; guglet or carafes, with slender necks, enamelled in a continuous landscape design with figures. Famille-rose palette, overglaze enamel colours on a white ground. Carved hardwood stands. Ch'ien Lung. c. 1780.

Gifted to the National Trust from Lady Mairi Bury (1921-2009), 1976.
