Summary
One of two insignia of the Royal Victorian Order, a neck badge of a white enamelled Maltese Cross of eight points with an oval centre enamelled crimson with cypher VRI in gold, encircling this is a blue enamel riband with Victoria in gold and above is the Imperial Crown enamelled in proper colours, awarded to the Seventh Marquess of Londonderry. Inside a Collingwood and Co box.
Provenance
On loan to the National Trust from Lady Mairi Bury (1921-2009), 1976, then accepted by HM Government in lieu of Inheritance Tax and allocated to the National Trust, 2013
