Summary
Cushion, the front of which is covered with silk and wool embroidery of the 'Trellis' design, taken from the original wallpaper by William Morris. The colours (which are faded in places) are blue, green, pink, red and turquoise on cream cotton. It has a white thin calico back. Probably sewn by Mrs Margaret Beale, wife of James Beale, the original owners of Standen.
