Summary
Painting of a male figure, executed in grisaille. The figure is wearing Elizabethan 16th century clothing with large sleeves, a ruff and a cap. It is one of the earliest decorative schemes discovered at Oxburgh. It is located under a panel of leather wall-hanging.
Provenance
Part of the Bedingfeld Collection. The house was given to the National Trust in 1952 by Sybil, Lady Bedingfeld (1883-1985), her daughter Mrs Greathead, and her niece Violet Hartcup.
