Summary

A silver writing companion. Elaborate silver lid is convex and worked in repousse decoration to match the front of the base. Sides and back are covered in grained leather, in green and brown, respectively. The monogram 'M.A.H.' occupies the centre of the lid. Interior has 3 compartments which are lined with green moire silk.
