Summary
A mahogany and ivory inlaid child's open armchair, English, circa 1765 The shaped top rail above a pierced back splat with shaped arms and supports. The drop in seat with needlepoint cover above a shaped frieze inlaid with the initials T.P. and a diamond, raised on square section legs. Wool & silk embroidery, linen back & hessian backcloth.
