An C18 English engraving from an original coeval painting at Cowdray Park in Sussex, the family seat of the Montague family. Drawn from the original by S.H. Grimm. Engraved by James Basire. Published by Act of Parliament, May 1788. The original was destroyed in the 1793 fire at Cowdray Park. Worm holes and mould noted 2009.
