Summary
A manuscript Patent of Advancement. Proclamation by Charles II, post 1660. Likeness of the King in top left-hand corner, within the letter C. The proclamation is bordered with coats-of-arms in heraldic colours of red and blue with gold. Narrow wooden frame with carved scrolls, with gilt gesso inset, glazed. Companion to OXB/D/4.

Given to the National Trust in 1985 by Violet Hartcup, Lady Sybil Bedingfeld's niece.
