Summary
A mahogany night table, English, late 18th/early 19th century. The top with shaped low gallery, above a front fitted with a variety of cockbeaded drawers and doors, some of them false, and with brass backplates and ring handles. With a brass carry handle to either end. Raised on slightly tapering square-section legs fitted with brass caps and castors.
Provenance
Date of introduction to Greenway not recorded, but given to the National Trust by Mrs Rosalind Hicks (d. 2004), Anthony Hicks (d. 2005) and Mathew Prichard in 2006, and accepted in 2007.
