Summary
A walnut and burr walnut chest of drawers with folding top, colloquially known as a bachelor's chest, English, circa 1730 - 1740. Featherbanded throughout, and with a folding top above a drawer between small lopers. All above four graduated lip-moulded drawers and with a coved base moulding above bracket feet. The brasses apparently original.
