Summary
Rectangular sycamore Jewellery box with hinged lid and snap fastening, decorated with nine oval views of varying size of landmarks and beauty spots in and around Aberfeldy; a verse 'From the Breadalbane Woods, Aberfeldy' by Burns is inscribed on the front of the lid, and the retailer's mark 'John Harrower, Jeweller, Aberfeldy' on the base. The inside is lined with royal blue watered silk, with lid and bottom padded. The underside is covered with brown textured paper. Contains illustrated postcard ; 'Quintain' Bodleian Library (43). On back 'Max and Nina/With best wishes/for Christmas/and the New Year/ from John'.
