Summary
An embroidered raised work picture, circa 1650-60, worked with the Judgement of Solomon, the King adorned with seed pearls on chenille throne, raised silver thread canopy and couched metal thread robes to the soldiers, in elaborately giltwood frame; faded, ground is splitting. Faded half sheet of 1837 newspaper in rear of frame. 'Printed and published by and for Johnson George of No 23, Hatter Street, Bury St Edmund's at no 26 in the same Street - Tuesday, October 31, 1837'
