Summary
Lead, An Arcadian Sherpherdess with a Lamb lying at her Feet, workshop of John Nost II (d.London 1729). One of four Archadian shepherds/sheperdesses on the Aviary Terrace. Standing figure of an Arcadian sherpherdess with a lamb lying at her feet; wearing a broad brimmed hat and knee length sleeved dress, with cross stitched bodice. Right hand raised above her head, left down towards the lamb. Looks to sinister. Part of listed building - Grade I - Orangery Terrace at Powis Castle (16776)

Amongst the sculpture within the grounds of Powis Castle and Gardens and part of the original bequest of the property in 1952.
