Summary
One of two pairs of rolled leather bearing reins with silver dress buckles, part of the bridle belonging to the State Harness. The bearing reins in display in the Coach House were a gift to the National Trust-Powis Castle from Colin Henderson of the Royal Mews, London.

Purchased by the National Trust from the John George Herbert, 8th Earl of Powis and Powis Estate Trustees in March 2001.
