Summary
Garment of grey snakeskin with short sleeves and turtle neck, the skins mounted horizontally with small red and brown cotton tufts and longer white hairs stitched into the joints at intervals.
Provenance
Purchased by the National Trust with funding from The National Heritage Memorial Fund from John George Herbert, 8th Earl of Powis and Powis Estate Trustees in August 1999.
