Summary
Huqqa pipe and snake - Part of a collection of huqqa snakes and pipes. A huqqa snake (T.11.7a) covered black silk and decorated with a honeycomb pattern formed from gilt foil, gilt thread and black silk thread with bands of gold raised diamond pattern near either end. Ensuite with pipe (T.11.7b) in Clive Store; the bamboo stem covered in black silk and decorated with a central band of honey comb pattern formed from gilt foil, gilt thread and black silk thread, and with band of raised diamond pattern above and below.
