Summary
Sculpture, bronze, Buddhist 'Luohan' (Holy Man), Chinese School. 18th century. Cast bronze figure of a Buddhist 'Luohan' (holy man). His right hand and left leg raised, as if dancing. On a plinth of stylised rocks. Painted shop inscriptions on the base.
Provenance
Accepted by HM Treasury on 21st March, 1963 in lieu of tax and conveyed to National Trust ownership on 29th November 1963.
