Summary
Punch dagger, with iron hilt silvered and gilt and with incised decoration; steel 'three-in-one' blade (the blade opens out into three sections when the cross bars are clenched together in the hand). Deccan (?), 18th century.
Provenance
Accepted by HM Treasury on 21st March, 1963 in lieu of tax and conveyed to National Trust ownership on 29th November 1963.
