Summary
Spear steel blade embossed at the forte with a grotesque mask, the ferrule divided into three by two nodes and endgraved with floral patterns in alternate segmants; the wooden shaft with three silvered steel bands. Tanjore, 18th century. Lowest spear in images.

Purchased by the National Trust with funding from The National Heritage Memorial Fund from John George Herbert, 8th Earl of Powis and Powis Estate Trustees in August 1999.
