Summary
Red leather cylindrical quiver, with bone thumb ring and 25 arrows. Hyderabad, India, late 18th century. Possibly given in 1804 to Edward Clive (1754-1839) by George Gilbert Keble, who was Secretary to the Government in Madras.
Provenance
Purchased by the National Trust with funding from The National Heritage Memorial Fund from John George Herbert, 8th Earl of Powis and Powis Estate Trustees in August 1999.
