Summary
Oil painting on canvas, General the Hon. Sir Edward Paget, GCB (1775-1849), attributed to Martin Archer Schee (Dublin 1769 - Brighton 1850). A three-quarter-length potrait of the younger brother of the 1st Marquess in military uniform, against a background of sky. The painting shows him without his right arm which he lost before Oporto, 1809. Probably painted shortly after his release from the French, 1814.
