Oil painting on canvas, William Paget, 1st Baron Paget of Beaudesert, KG (1505/6-63), possibly Anglo-Netherlandish School, 18th century. A later copy of NT 1175924, showing a three-quarter-length portrait of Wiliam Paget wearing a fur edged coat, holding a staff in his right hand and a dagger in his left, wearing the Greater George.

Originally at Beaudesert in the Lesser Drawing Room (vide Shaw)(1798 Stebbing Shaw, Ye History & Antiqs. of Staffs, Vol I (1798) p.221, called 'a fine performance of the celebrated Hans Holbein', and with a description clearly of this version);
