Summary
Cover. Cover for a George III rococo silver 2-handled cup and cover by John Parker and Edward Wakefield, 1761, the cup of baluster shape on spreading foot, the whole applied with vines and (on top of cover and handles) grape clusters; later rococo coat of arms engraved on 1 side of cup (Myddelton impaling two lions passant on hatching), later Myddelton hand rising from bound staff engraved on cup and cover. Engraved on underside of base '86 ' 15'. Side of base impressed with lion passant, 'JP/EW', crowned leopard's head and date letter for 1761.
