Summary
Ceramic. Tureen lid. Part of a mid-18th century twenty two-piece Strasbourg faience dinner service. Painted in a polychrome palette with sprays of flowers incuding. peonies, tulips, roses, with puce-edged, lobed rims; some with hallmark mark of Joseph Hannong.
