Summary
A mahogany and marquetry demi-lune card-table, English, late 18th century, the top inlaid with floral and foliate motifs, with rosewood and satinwood crossbands to the edges, the frieze similarly decorated, on square-section tapering legs with spade feet, the legs headed by inlaid paterae and with further line- and decorative inlay to the legs, rear two legs forming a double swing-action to support the fold over table top.
