Summary
A mahogany long stool, English, late 18th century, the later gros-point upholstery embroidered with flowers and leaves on a brown ground, horsehair stuffed, on six chamfered square-section legs joined by plain stretchers (possibly with some replacements).
Provenance
Date of acquisition by the National Trust unknown. Located at Harewoods until transferred to Hatchlands Park by 1965. Recorded at Hatchlands Park in the 1965 inventory.
