Summary
Leaded stained glass panel. A leaded stained glass panel depicting St Simon in a blue robe and a red gold-edged cloak, holding a book and a staff (?). St Simon is standing among plants and grass, with a bird (possibly a dove) and an animal (possibly a lamb) at his feet. There is a view of a town over his shoulders and a banner reading 'St. Simon' in the sky behind his head and in front of two Corinthian-style capitals.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
