Summary
Tie back. One of four wool and silk tie-backs. The fabric is a five-strand twisted cord comprising two purple wool (faded to grey/green), two three-strand twisted, one black wool and one red silk on cotton core one of purple wool, plus one cotton thread core. The structure has metal rings at either end (3.8cm & 3.1cm)

Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
