Summary
Coin weight. A British Charles II brass coin weight. A thick brass coin with a beaded border. The obverse shows the crowned head of Charles II, facing left with an inscription CAROLVS to the left and REX to the right, within a beaded rim. The reverse shows a crown at the top with XX I at the centre and S at the lower edge.
Provenance
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
