Summary

A Viennese silver, enamel and rock crystal timepiece, circa 1880. The single chain fusee movement with foliate incised and fret at face place signed; J. Rival, London. The case supported by a youthful semi-cuirassed warrior standing on an octagonal rock crystal foot.

Purchased from the estate of the late Lord Wraxall with the assistance of the NHMF and donations from members and supporters.
